Chief Commissioner of Sörmland County Council
Lotta Finstorp is currently Chief Commissioner of Sörmland County Council. She holds a degree in social science and has been politically active in the Swedish Moderate Party for the major part of her life. She was elected Chair of the Lisbon Regions Network between June 2007 and June 2008.
Mrs Finstorp has a long experience with several political positions; she is as Member of the Executive Board of the Swedish Association of Local Authorities and Regions, rapporteur for the Lisbon Strategy in Sörmland County, and member of the Board of the Council of Mälardalen and in its Committee of transport and infrastructure.
Between 1998 and 2002 Mrs. Finstorp was elected Mayor in the municipality of Flen.
Lotta Finstorp was born in 1956 and has three children. She is a professional horse rider.
